CTET PAPER PATTERN

Paper I: This paper is for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.

Paper II: This paper is for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.

Note If a candidate intends to teach both the levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) then they will be required to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).

The duration for Paper I (for classes I to V) Primary Stage is two-and-a-half hours. The test consists of:

Nature and standard of questions for Paper II:

The questions related to Child Development and Pedagogy will focus on educational psychology of teaching and learning relevant to the age group of 6-11 years.

The questions in Language I will focus on the proficiencies related to the medium of instruction.

The questions in language II will focus on the elements of language, communication and comprehension abilities.

The questions in Mathematics and Environmental Studies will focus on the concepts, problem solving abilities and pedagogical understanding of the subjects

The questions in the test for Paper I will be based on the topics prescribed in syllabus of the NCERT/CBSE for classes VI – VIII but their difficulty standard as well as linkages, could be up to the Secondary stage.

REET Paper Pattern

Rajasthan Eligibility Examination For Teachers

REET will hold 2 papers which are also called level-1 and level-2 paper.

Paper-I (Level-I): - Who want to be teacher of class-I to class-V have to appear in Paper-I.

Paper-II (Level-II): who want to be teacher for class VI to class VIII has to appear in Paper-II.

REET Question Paper will contain objective type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQS). REET is a mandatory exam to get a job as 3rd grade teacher as per new rules of RPSC.
